Contest Description

 

Street2Ivy's Black Friday Pop-Up Contest gives you the opportunity to sell your product at a storefront in The Boston Seaport. We are looking for creators and innovators to come up with a t-shirt design that showcases your brand.

The contest is designed to be both engaging and rewarding. Follow these steps to begin your pop-up journey:

 

1. Unleashing Creativity:

The first step calls upon brands to select or design an image that reflects their ethos—an image that will blow people away on a T-shirt. Each design will be sold on the same style of T-shirt. Brands will be able to choose the color of the shirt for their design.

2. Digital Presence:

In the age of connectivity, having a robust digital footprint is

paramount. Entrepreneurs will have a vendor profile on the Street2Ivy platform, ensuring they have a space to tell their stories, collect votes, and sell T-shirts with their design. Further, leveraging the power of social media, especially Instagram, brands can showcase their designs and narratives.

3. Community Building:

No brand is an island. The support of a community—a tribe that believes in the brand’s vision—is indispensable. This contest allows brands to galvanize their followers, urging them to engage on Instagram and vote on the Street2Ivy platform. This not only amplifies visibility but strengthens brand loyalty.

4. The Winning Streak:

There will be three winning brands! Each winner will be chosen by the public. Only the Grand Prize winner will be flown out to Boston for the Black Friday Pop-up.

a) The People’s Champion: The grand prize, based on public votes, promises an experience like no other. The winner will be flown to Boston1, letting them bask 1 The winner will be provided one roundtrip ticket to Boston and two nights hotel accommodations. The selection of airline and hotel will be managed by Street2Ivy. 3 in the Black Friday weekend festivities firsthand. (Street2Ivy will provide round trip Economy airfare and a two-night hotel stay).

b) 2nd & 3rd Place: The second and third place winners will have their designs featured in the Pop-up shop. Their brands will be heavily featured during the Street2Ivy Cyber Monday promotions.

5. *Contest Bonus* Cyber Monday Extravaganza:

Every brand in the contest, regardless of whether they win or not, gets a slice of the Cyber Monday pie. An opportunity to reach a broader audience and scale new heights.

6. The Secondary Contest:

All competing brands will automatically be entered into the Spring Pop-up Competition. This one is a little different, instead of competing for votes, the brand with the most sales between Cyber Monday and February 29th will win a March pop-up. More details to come.

Key Dates

  • Monday, September 4, 2023, contest begins, and submissions accepted starting at 1:30pm EST.

  • Friday, October 6, 2023, submission deadline. No submissions accepted after 11.59pm EST.

  • Monday, October 9, 2023, public voting process begins at 9:00am EST.

  • Sunday, October 29, 2023, public voting process ends at 11:59 EST.

  • Monday, November 6, 2023, winners announced at 12:01pm EST.

  • Friday, November 24, 2023, Black Friday event, featuring winning brands held from 8:30am to 4:00pm.

  • Monday, November 27, 2023, Cyber Monday event, all competing brands are a part of the online promotions.
