Entrepreneurship is the very foundation upon which our country was founded. But for people from today’s underserved communities who do not have the connections to learn how to become an entrepreneur, this path to wealth generation is inaccessible.

The Youth E-Commerce Entrepreneurship Program seeks to equip young people with the skills, knowledge, and mentors needed to gain experience in entrepreneurship, and to set them on a path to help eliminate the income and wealth disparity in Boston.

Industry experts will teach twenty-one young people ages 15 to 19 the ins and outs of how to be an entrepreneur, including:

  • E-commerce Entrepreneurship

  • Financial modeling

  • Product marketing

  • Raising capital

The cohort will work in teams, each guided by a coach. For their culminating project, teams will prepare and present entrepreneurial strategies to faculty and peers based on hypothetical businesses and conditions.

Participants will leave the Youth E-Commerce Entrepreneurship Program with real-world knowledge and legitimate relationships they can use to uplift their lives and their communities.
